# Pilcrino > Pilcrino is an AI blog writer that runs on your own computer. The free Pilcrino plugin for Claude Code plans topics, researches each post through your browser, writes in your voice, makes the images and opens the post as a pull request, using the Claude plan you already pay for. The Pilcrino app, a paid local UI on a waitlist, runs the whole content plan unattended and lets you preview, approve and manage every blog in one place. The plugin is free; the app is $199 once, $129 for the first 50, with no new subscription. Pilcrino is for founders who have something to say about their product and want it written well. Docs, drafts and credentials stay on the owner's computer. Posts are researched from Google, Reddit and X with sources cited, reviewed, and published only after the owner approves them. ## Product - [Home](https://pilcrino.com/): what Pilcrino does, how it works, and the questions buyers ask - [Pricing](https://pilcrino.com/pricing): the free plugin, the app, what the licence includes, and the other costs - [About](https://pilcrino.com/about): who builds Pilcrino and how its blog is written - [AI phrases checker](https://pilcrino.com/ai-phrases-checker): free tool that finds stock AI phrases, patterns and em dashes in any text, in the browser ## Blog - [How to Use Reddit Threads as Research for Blog Posts](https://pilcrino.com/blog/reddit-threads-as-blog-sources): How I find, vet, quote and cite Reddit and X threads in blog posts, and why it matters now that ChatGPT shows far fewer Reddit citations. - [Does AI Save Time Writing Blog Posts? 9 Posts, Measured](https://pilcrino.com/blog/does-ai-save-time-writing-blog-posts): Yes, if you measure rewrite share, not drafting speed. 9 real posts: a median 0.6% rewritten after the AI finished.
