# Pricing: Pilcrino

Pilcrino is an AI blog writer that runs on your own computer. The free Pilcrino plugin for Claude Code plans topics, researches each post through your browser, writes in your voice, makes the images and opens the post as a pull request, using the Claude plan you already pay for. The Pilcrino app, a paid local UI on a waitlist, runs the whole content plan unattended and lets you preview, approve and manage every blog in one place.

## The plugin

- Price: free. MIT licensed. https://github.com/pilcrino/pilcrino
- Install in Claude Code: `/plugin marketplace add pilcrino/pilcrino` then `/plugin install pilcrino@pilcrino`.
- What it does: a content plan from research, research with sources, facts locked before drafting, a draft and a separate review, a polish pass, images in your style, and the post opened as a pull request (WordPress as a draft, a paste-in file for other platforms). One post per Claude Code session.
- Runs on the Claude plan you already pay for.

## The app

- Price: $199 USD, one-time payment. $129 for the first 50 buyers. No subscription.
- Includes: 12 months of updates and support. The version you have keeps running after that.
- Status: on a waitlist.
- Refunds: within 14 days, no questions asked.
- What it adds: runs the whole content plan unattended and resumes after your plan's limit; plan, queue and progress on one screen; preview and approve, or send a post back with a note; rules and agent settings in a form; all your blogs in one place.

## What else you pay

- Your Claude plan. Pilcrino runs on it. No API key and no other subscription.
- One exception: AI illustrations need a Codex login or an image API key.

## Limits

- How many posts a day you get depends on your Claude plan and the models you choose for each step.
- At your plan's limit the app pauses, then resumes when the limit resets.
- Pilcrino runs on your own computer, so the computer must be on while it writes. macOS only today.

## Platforms

- Sites built from a GitHub repository (Astro, Hugo, Next.js, Eleventy and other markdown sites).
- WordPress, as a draft you publish in WordPress admin.
- Webflow, Ghost, Jekyll and other platforms, through a file you paste in.
